Waking up: Involution and Evolution in Community
I'll explore how knowledge of the Enneagram can, when coupled with committed spiritual practice in facilitated small-group settings, can support us in freeing ourselves from the compulsions of our egoic constructs, enabling us to live more vibrant and authentic lives.
In This Session:
- Learn a psycho-spiritual community-based approach to freeing yourself from the self-limiting habits of your personality type
- Learn ways each personality type can sabotage its own personal growth and spiritual unfoldment
- Learn specific spiritual practices that help to loosen the grip of personality
Reverend Nhien T. Vuong, M.Div., J.D., is a former Stanford Law attorney who left her San Francisco law career in 2012 to pursue a calling to Unity ministry. An ordained Unity Minister, Nhien has been serving as an associate minister at Unity Temple on the Plaza since January 2015 where she leads a weekly interspiritual, Enneagram-based Sunday service.
An Accredited Professional with the International Enneagram Association (IEA), Nhien is passionate about using the Enneagram map of consciousness for personal growth and spiritual transformation. At Unity Temple, Rev. Nhien heads up the Temple’s interspiritual education program and regularly offers classes, workshops, and retreats on the Enneagram. She also facilitates weekly Contemplative Practices & the Enneagram (CPE) practice and support groups, which offer a small-group setting for doing transformational Enneagram-based inner work.
Rev. Nhien currently serves as adjunct faculty for Unity Worldwide Spiritual Institute (UWSI) offering Enneagram classes through UWSI’s Spiritual Explorers program. She is an Enneagram Specialist with Gravity: a Center for Contemplative Activism. She also offers Enneagram-based “spiritual tutoring” to individuals and couples who want to apply Enneagram knowledge to improve their relationships to self, Spirit, and others.
