The Instincts Dialogues: The Known, the Inquiries, and the Forward Visions, Part 1 and Part 2
This two-part special session will look at one of the most fascinating and confounding parts of the human experience — the inherent instinctual drive we all have to live life. These instincts are so primal that they're activated without our conscious cooperation for survival, wellbeing, procreation, reaching beyond the known, safety, belonging, and more. And it turns out that, to support and sustain an actualized life, we have to understand these drives — they're one of the hottest topics of the Enneagram field. Russ Hudson, president at the Enneagram Institute, Beatrice Chestnut, psychotherapist, coach, business consultant, and author, and Mario Sikora, executive coach and president at Awareness to Action International —each known for their deep inquiry into the instinctual pathways — as they explore together what they agree on, where they have different orientations, what they might learn from each other, and what they're all curious about.
During this healing and inspiring session, you'll discovers:
- Why there are differentiated names for the three instincts
- How you can bring consciousness to the unconsciousness of the instincutal drives
- What the Enneagram field needs to be exploring about the instinctual drives
