The Asymmetrical Dynamism of the Enneagram: The Mandala That Won’t Stay On the Page

With Cynthia Bourgeault
Hosted by Jessica Dibb

As a symbol, the Enneagram is jaggedly, dynamically asymmetrical. In its original iteration as a cosmic mandala, it depicts the intersection of the Law of Three and the Law of Seven — both odd numbers and both  innovative, dynamic, and symmetry-breaking. While we’re used to looking at the symbol as a closed circle on a two-dimensional plane, it's best visualized as a 3D spiral, continuously generating new realms for exploration and creative expression.

Many Enneagram students find moving beyond this binary perception of the Enneagram map to be initially very confounding or challenging. However, working in this way inevitably opens brand new dimensions for exploration and transformation — from healing of the personality, to cosmological convergence, to the love that runs the sun and star, and so on. Join Cynthia Bourgeault, "The Reverend Doctor," as she demonstrates how this 3D understanding of the Enneagram is a powerful matrix for the integration of all three centers in our human lives, as well as the opening of true manifested mystical dimension. She'll discuss the convergence of the Enneagram and awakening, and the unchartered territory of personal unique emergent mysticism and actualization.

During this far-reaching session, you'll discover:

  • What the Law of Seven is & how it relates to the Enneagram symbol
  • How your type limits your contact with God
  • The kinds of intelligence and grace that can emerge when we practice being present to the Law of Three & the Law of Seven
