True Integration or Spritual Bypass?: Towards Real Emergent Awakening, Part 1 and Part 2
The search for the truth of who we are, what life is, and what is possible, is a timeless process... and at the core of our deepest longing. When we're free of our fear-based ways of being in life and awaken to truth and the deeper dimensions and possibilities of reality, we achieve “realization.” The hope and desire that we can live from this transcendent way of being is the ultimate flowering of that longing. "Actualization," happens when we reach that ability. The state of realization, however, does not automatically translate into actualization. That journey of “integration,” seems to be the greatest challenge to the human body and psyche. We have moments of realization, and, instead of allowing ourselves to be transformed we glorify our realizations without any real change in ourselves. This is often referred to as spiritual bypassing. Join this amazing two-part panel of brilliant Enneagram teachers— including Russ Hudson, President at the Enneagram Institute, "The Reverend Doctor," Cynthia Bourgeault, teacher, Sandra Maitri, Terry Saracino, Founding President and Core Faculty at The Narrative Enneagram, as they explore these themes and how the Enneagram can contribute to integration.
During this profound session, you'll discover:
- What "integration" is
- How the Enneagram can help prevent spiritual bypassing — and how we sometimes misuse the Enneagram to spiritual bypass
- Ways to navigate the intensity of the real transformation in "actualization"
